Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2025
1. Services Overview
Precision Harness Studio provides wire harness manufacturing sourcing services, connecting clients with vetted SME factories in China. Our services include prototyping, production coordination, quality testing, and compliance documentation.
We act as an intermediary between clients and manufacturing partners, providing engineering consultation and project management throughout the manufacturing process.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate technical specifications, drawings, and requirements for all projects. Any changes to specifications after production commencement may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.
Payment terms are net 30 days unless otherwise agreed. Prototype costs are due upon completion before shipment. Production payments follow agreed milestone schedules.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their designs comply with applicable regulations in their target markets.
3. Quality & Testing
We perform 100% continuity and hipot testing on all harnesses as standard. Additional testing requirements must be specified during project initiation and may incur additional costs.
Quality documentation (IATF, PPAP, IMDS) is provided per project requirements. Clients must specify documentation needs during project scoping.
Manufacturing defects will be addressed at no cost to the client. Design-related issues or specification changes are billable.
4. Intellectual Property
Client designs and specifications remain the property of the client. We maintain strict confidentiality and can execute additional NDAs as required.
Manufacturing partners are bound by confidentiality agreements and are prohibited from producing client designs for other parties.
Clients warrant that their designs do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
5. Delivery & Risk
Delivery timelines are estimates based on current factory capacity and material availability. Force majeure events, material shortages, or specification changes may impact schedules.
Risk of loss transfers to the client upon shipment from the manufacturing facility. We recommend appropriate insurance coverage for international shipments.
We are not liable for delays caused by customs, shipping carriers, or events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the direct costs paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
Clients are responsible for validating that products meet their application requirements and applicable safety standards.
Manufacturing partners carry appropriate insurance coverage for their operations.
7. Modifications
These terms may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of material changes. Continued engagement constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Project-specific terms may supersede these general terms where explicitly agreed in writing.
